Don’t want to just stand quietly on the sidelines any more, but make an active effort in society? Do you feel like making a meaningful commitment?

Het Punt is a Brussels organisation that brings together volunteers and those who are in need of them. Het Punt mainly works with Dutch-language organisations, but also offers a great many volunteer positions suitable for expats. They even made a special English spoken website for the international community in Brussels http://volunteeringbrussels.be. Check out their list of vacancies.

Volunteer work? Me? Anyone can be a volunteer – you don’t need any special talent, as any form of involvement is worthwhile! You can decide on the time and duration yourself.
